Got up this morning and saw that it was going to be a nice day to do some shooting. Got dressed and got my gear ready and headed out just to do some shooting.
My hope was to do a long exposure on a small river while the sun was rising. Did I get that, no. Instead i ended up on a lake and played around with different settings and felt as though I wasn’t really getting what i wanted but I ended up with some that looked ok, so I am happy. I found some nice spots to come back to and also got to see where the sun was rising, so I know where i should start the next time.
It was good to get out and hopefully it will be more often as i need quite a bit more practice to get the shots i want.
This is the gear that I used today
